7 Tips to Hydrate Hair in Winters
5. Leave in conditioner
Sometimes, a conditioner after your shampooing is not enough to keep your hair moist if it is being exposed to the elements outside, especially bitter cold and winds. In this case, a leave in conditioner would be a good choice. This moisturizes your hair and also give it a good glow and a great choice for winter.
6. Try not to treat your hair
Hair treatments like coloring, perming and straightening can be postponed to when the weather is a little better. Since the weather and nature is already not favorable to your hair, it would be wise to stay away from hair treatments as they are known to make your hair dry and weak.
7. Drink a lot of water
Drink a lot of water. Also stay away from dabbing your hair with water when you think it is dry. This makes your hair look OK for a while, but dries it a lot more than what it was originally.
You don’t have to cover up your hair during winter to keep it dry. Just keep it well hydrated and take good care.
