5. Apply a base coat
Toenails need extra care when applying nail paint. As the nail paint of the toe nails tend to chip, applying a base coat will seal it through. Apply a clear base coat on the nails and wait for some time before you apply nail paint.
6. Apply a nail paint
Choose your favorite shade and apply it on the nails. Apply the first coat and wait for a minute before it dries up. Apply the second coat and repeat if desired. If there is any excess nail paint on the sides, then use a Q-tip for it. Dip it in a nail polish remover to remove excess coat.
7. Apply a clear coat
Seal your nail paint with a clear coat if desired. Application of clear coat will prevent the nail paint from chipping off.
