There are regular tests you may have to take to keep you updated and test new skills. Take the tests that help you in your promotions. Also watch out for in house hiring. If your name is not already recommended, put it up.
7. Be true to yourself
You do not have to suck up to your boss and take everything your employer throws at you to move ahead in the office. Maintain your self-respect and be true to yourself. You will get ahead no matter what. People will respect you when you don’t bend or when you are not a doormat.
