7 Things that You Should Avoid Putting on Your Facebook or Twitter Account
5. Too many personal photo albums
Even if you have tight privacy settings on Facebook and Twitter, avoid putting albums full of personal pictures from holidays, birthdays or personal events. You never know who is using whose computer or where your pictures are being viewed and copied. Avoid giving pranksters the opportunity to manipulate your pictures.
6. Hate messages
Avoid blacklisting your own profile from Facebook or Twitter by posting too many hate messages towards a particular person, race, nation or religion. The point of social media is to interact with interesting people and find opportunities, not to indulge in controversies.
7. Ranting through incessant updates
How many times have you been annoyed by someone else’s random rants and gibberish strewn across as updates on your wall? If you have been victim to unreasonable venting on Facebook or Twitter, stop posting such things yourself. The world doesn’t always need to know when you are going to the loo or when you’re feeling cheated.
