Texting while you are on a date with your boyfriend is a complete no-no. Not only will it come across as rude but your boyfriend may lose interest in taking you out on a date simply because you may appear busy in your own world. Keep your cell phone away while you spend time with him. Just like you would feel insulted if your boyfriend texted underneath the table, he would feel the same while seeing you do that.
6. Don’t convey something important through a text
Your guy may not like it if you talk about important matters over a text message. Whether you want to talk about something important related to your relationship, do it when you meet him in person or at least while having a conversation on the phone. Demanding a breakup, asking for forgiveness or saying something intense over a text is a mistake that you should not make while dating.

If you take hours to reply to your boyfriend over a text every single time and try to play hard to get while dating, it may backfire. Playing hard to get is a strategy that is known to work when you are trying to get a guy’s attention, not necessarily when you are already dating him.
