7 Signs You Have a Bad boss
5. She fails to accept your idea
If you manager responds defensively when her decisions are questioned, then she is insecure about her position and authority in the organization. Such managers are threatened by other’s dissent and therefore less likely to encourage you or your other team members to suggest new and different ways of doing things. However, a good manager is secure with her position and authority and has no fear of any operations, therefore fearlessly recognizing that others’ ideas are sometimes better than her own.
6. She makes you extremely dependent on her
A good manager is one who will encourage you to develop your own skills by putting you in challenging situations. However, there are many others who are control-freaks and do not allow their teammates to send even a mail without their approval.
7. She is unapproachable
If you find it difficult to approach your boss in case of any problem that crops up during an important assignment, fearing her tyrant attitude, you may never be able to work efficiently and productively. In fact, she should be the first person to be aware of your problems during work. If you find it difficult reaching her, then your boss does not deserve to be where she currently is.
