7 Reasons Why Teenagers Find Their Lives Complicated
5. Relationship/s
It is quite normal to have a boyfriend or a number of boyfriends at this age. The relationships which teenage girls get into at this age are responsible for further complications in their life. There are already plenty of things going on in their lives, and when someone special comes into their life, they develop too many expectations, which if not satisfied, results in depression and a feeling of helplessness and insecurity. This aggravates the complications further.
6. Conflicts in family
Undoubtedly, the family too is responsible for complications in a teenage girl’s life. She is no longer the small kid at home. She has now grown up and has begun to show signs of a woman both mentally and physically. This naturally creates awareness among the parents and guardians who want and think of only their daughter’s safety and security. But in their bid to keep their teenage daughter safe, they sometimes become overbearing, which leads to conflicts. This further upsets the teenage girl who thinks that it all revolves around her.
7. Suicidal tendencies
This is the age when if nothing seems right, the thought of ending one’s life comes to the mind. Suicidal tendencies might develop at this age which results in more complications in life. This primarily comes from the feeling of isolation or feeling “unwanted.” They need some amount of attention which they feel they don’t have, and thus think about committing suicide. Of course, extreme cases are rare, but symptoms of depression should not be overlooked, as suicidal tendencies is one of them.
