7 International Festivals You Must Attend at Least Once
5. Tomorrowland
This one is for girls who love gigs. The music fest has become tremendously popular over the years since it started in 2005. Held in Belgium during late July, this one is for the music lovers who can enjoy all sorts of genres here.
6. Mardi Gras
Two words that can easily define this festival are, crazy fun. It is the joyous day of loading up on tasty, mouth-watering and lip smacking dishes before the fasting period of Lent arrives. It’s very much prevalent in North and South America. The unusual name means Fat Tuesday in French and that is because of the fat rich foods consumed on the day. Great for girls who love food!
7. La Tomatina
This is one loco Spanish festival in which loads and loads of tomatoes are used. The fruits are mashed into a pulp and thrown at each other by the revelers who usually are a bunch of almost 50,000 people. Water canons are also fired while you get all dirty and wild with abandon.
