7 Helpful Remedies for Coarse Hair
5. Focus on your diet
Consumption of a good diet is as important as using the right hair products. Four servings of fruits and five servings of veggies in a day are both important for lustrous hair. Replace animal fats with healthier options such as olive or walnut oil. At least 8 glasses of water in a day is important for healthy skin and hair. Periodic consumption of nuts and seeds puts the sheen right back into your hair.
6. Replenish your hair with a tonic
Swimming, long hours in the sun and other pollutants can deteriorate the texture of your hair. A homemade tonic can help replace moisture and let your hair shine through. All that you need to do is mix quarter cup coconut oil with 2 drops of lavender and rosemary oils. This mix should be refrigerated for cooling it down. 2 to 4 tablespoons (depending upon the length of hair) of the oil can be used for massaging on to scalp and hair. Cover with a warm towel and stay for 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
7. Use apple cider vinegar
Dandruff can also cause dry and coarse hair. Soaking your hair apple cider vinegar or massaging the scalp with the product puts an end to the problem.
Staying away from periodic hair treatments and using hot air to dry hair will end up causing more damage to hair than you think. And very frequent use will completely destroy the texture and also cause a lot of hair fall.
