Chicken soup can be a clear soup, or a soup made with shredded chicken or full pieces of chicken, with vegetables of choice and garnished with onions, garlic, ginger, salt and black pepper. People usually add some vegetables to the chicken soup: carrots– rich in vitamin A – are a big favorite; potatoes are another. Some even add whole leaves of cabbage, cauliflower, tomatoes, chopped boiled egg, parsnip, celery, sour cream, black bay leaves, a sprinkling of fresh herbs, mushrooms, pasta, almonds and even noodles! 7. Wholesome food

You can cook it in a pot, or in a pressure cooker; check to see if the broth is consistent and the chicken has become tender. Even the tender chicken pieces can be removed from the cooker/pot, fried in a few drops of oil and eaten with bread. Soup with chicken and bread, is a wholesome meal.
