5. Movie nights
Have a Christmas movie night at home where you can plan and show your kids interesting Christmas movies, with a complete setup of food and drinks and also call their friends to add to the fun.
6. Christmas plays
Take your children for a Christmas play. Many theater groups organize plays during Christmas. Children can also participate in object theater groups and be a part of the play themselves.
7. Collect Christmas toys
This season children can learn the joy of sharing. Ask them to create a pamphlet to collect toys for a children’s shelter home. They can go around with a Santa bag, dressed as little Santa Clauses and rather than giving presents, collect old story books and toys from the neighborhood. You can help them donate the collected items to a particular organization supporting a good cause. Your children will enjoy lighting up other children’s Christmas and learn to find happiness in other’s happiness.
