6 Ways to Become a Better Communicator
4. Be aware of your body language
Maintaining eye contact with the other person, shows your interest. Folding your hands does not. You need to be aware of how you are presenting yourself during a conversation.
5. Make a point
Don’t beat around the bush and don’t drag conversations unnecessarily. You will lose the interest of the other person. If you have a point then make it, if you don’t it’s better to change the topic and turn the conversation towards something you can talk about.
6. If you don’t understand, ask
Do not try and interpret something you can’t. If you don’t understand something, or if you are doubtful, ask. This will show your genuine interest and might even spare you from embarrassment you could have otherwise faced.
