6 Tips to Plan An Office Party
4. Plan the menu
This is the most important part of your party and if this is up to the mark, people will not stop going gaga about you and the party. Most organizers have a set food and drink package. Also set a drink policy, which means whether the company would be paying for the first few drinks, the whole lot, or nothing at all. Make sure the staff is informed in advance about this policy.
5. Make a list of guests and prepare the invitations
Create a guest list. If the list is huge and you have people, who aren’t a part of your organization, attending the event, then it’s imperative to prepare a formal invitation and send them across. But if the guests included are members of your team or part of the organization, then an email may suffice. Follow this up with a reminder a week or 5 days before the event.
6. Make it fun
Ask them to come in a particular dress code or some fancy dresses. You can run an award night too and give the best dressed or most interestingly dressed person an award. Click plenty of photographs and put it on the company board or the company website. Make it an interesting event!
