6 Tips for Airport Etiquette
Airports can be at times one of the most trying places to be stuck in. More so when your flight is delayed and you realize you have to spend a few more hours. Even otherwise airports can be confusing, with different terminals and numerous gates that seem to stretch forever. With the government cutting down on more jobs, and with less personnel to man the different counters, the queues have become much lengthier and the time it takes to process your papers have just become longer. Exasperating and irritating, but don’t lose your temper. There is etiquette that needs to be followed even in an airport.
1. Do not shout
Shouting will not move the line any faster, nor will you get your boarding pass any quicker. Shouting will also get you into trouble with the airport security. Curb the urge to scream.
2. Be ready to be frisked
It is inevitable that you would be going through the security. It saves you and other people a lot of time when you are ready for the security people.
3. Be there on time
There is a reason airlines ask you to be at the airport at a certain time. Make sure you are on time. Picking up a fight with the counter staff when you are late will only make you more miserable.
