6 Steps to Blow Dry Curly Hair Straight
4. Blow dry your curls straight
Fix the unclipped section of your hair onto the paddle brush to begin blow drying it. Set your dryer on medium fan with medium heat. Using excessive heat may damage your hair. Keep your paddle brush as flat as possible so that your hair gets maximum coverage of the heat from the dryer. Angle your head at 45 degrees as you begin moving the dryer along with the paddle brush from the root of your hair to the tip. Repeat this motion for 3-4 times to ensure that your curls are straightened out. You may take some more time and rounds to blow dry your curls straight if the volume and density of your hair is larger.
5. Repeat the same process for other sections
After you have finished blow drying one section of your curls, move to the next section and repeat the same process. Once you have finished all sections, use your paddle brush to blow dry random sections of your hair to make your mane look even.
6. Use a setting spray
If your hair is naturally curly, they may not remain straight for a long time unless you use a setting spray, gel or serum to fixate them in their position. A spray is the best way to set your hair and ensure that they remain straight at least for a couple of hours. Once you apply the product, seal it by using the cold setting on your dryer. Give your hair a quick finishing round of blow drying once again.
