These are signs that you boss is impressed by you. A boss will never give an employee a promotion which is not in the pipeline unless that employee has done an exceptionally good job.
5. Your boss asks you to train new staff
If your boss has asked you to train new staff, help them upgrade their skills or supervise them on certain projects in which you have expertise, it means that you have impressed your boss. Your boss will be ready to leave new staff to be trained under your supervision only when there is full assurance that you will successfully transfer your skills to them and do a good job in training them.

One of the indicators of your boss being impressed with you is sharing confidential information. This information could include important data of the company that only top management is supposed to know, press releases of the company or any forthcoming announcements. The fact that your boss shares such information with you means that you are considered to be a trustworthy person and you have impressed you boss with this trait several times in the past.
