6 Reasons It’s a Date not an Interview
4. Do not sell yourself
It is a date and over the course of a few hours the other person will slowly get to know who you are. There are no perfect answers, you needn’t exactly please all the time and there is no need to aggressively market yourself.
5. Learn when to shut up
There is no need to go on and on about what you are good at or how fast or how efficient are you at certain things. Listening is the best thing you can do on a date.
6. Be honest
It is not an interview and you are not expected to submit a resume, where there is sometimes a bit of fabrication, harmless and otherwise. Be truthful. The less lies there is on a date, the easier it is to carry on a relationship.
Not all dates are successful and end in a romantic relationship. But there is always the chance that it could lead to better things, like a life partner or a good friendship.
