4. Fade Away
You are dating for some time now. It’s all going great guns and then it starts. The calls start dwindling, reply to messages become irregular and he suddenly finds it difficult to keep plans because “I am staying back at office” or “something suddenly came up”. Your perseverance is all in vain and over the time, you just accept talking to him once a week and adjusting all this while to his extra busy lifestyle. But it is good to nip this in the bud – no boyfriend can be so busy as to not talk to his love. Talk to him the moment he starts avoiding you, clear the air and finish it off before things get ugly.
5. I am still not over her
The fact is he was never over her and will never be. All this while was just a trial and error for him and for all you know, you were just his sounding board. This is the lamest and cheapest excuses he can use to break it off. It just means that he does not respect his relationships or his partners and is using the ghost of his past relationship to ward you off.
6. I am not ready for a relationship
This sentence is often incomplete. The whole statement reads, “I am not ready for a relationship with you”. The next thing you will probably hear about him is that he is engaged to someone. If he wasn’t ready for a relationship with you, then God save the girl he is going to marry. Though this excuse is used by both genders, guys do it more often.
