4. Don’t always strive for perfection
Claire’s character on the show is that of a hardworking mom who constantly strives for perfection. Even though she is extremely cautious and tries to be flawless, she ends up being obsessive. Moreover, she often ends up making several mistakes in judgment or takes the wrong approach to solve things. Despite her “imperfections”, she is loved by all and is extremely charming!
5. It’s okay to be different
No two characters on the show are similar. They have different histories and unique personalities. Cam is one character who loves all the things that make him different and aims at enjoying life. Manny is mature beyond his years and does not try to be “normal” like others. This teaches us that you should stick to being who you are and not worry about what others consider “normal”.
6. “Geeky” is not always bad
Alex is a beautiful little girl who is extremely geeky. However, she makes it look very cool and chic. Manny is another geeky character on the show but he is very likable and is adored by all. It shows that though geeks might seem socially awkward but they do have a very good heart and can win anyone over with their genuinity.
