6 Great Reasons to Change Jobs
4. You commute conditions are impractical
Sometimes you have to tolerate impractical commuting conditions to get to work. But if those conditions are taking a toll on your personal life, you should consider changing your job. For example, if you have to travel more than three hours to and fro on a daily basis to get to your workplace or if you have to change a few modes of transport to get to your office, you should change your job. Opt for a job which is located closer by so that you can invest futile commuting time with your family or in any other constructive activity.
5. You have no work-life balance
Striking a work-life balance is extremely important to enjoy your personal and professional life equally. If your work takes up too much of your energy and time and leaves no space for your family, it may not be worth it. Spending time with your kids, husband or boyfriend is important and a job which does not allow you to do so should be reconsidered.
6. You get a better job offer
Getting a better job offer may seem like an obvious reason to change your current job, but it is something that many people are unable to do. If you have been working in the same organization for a long time, you are likely to form a loyalty with them and become resistant to change. But such loyalty generally tends to be overlooked by large organizations. So if you get a better job offer with a better pay and better conditions, you should take it up.
