1. Pier 39
Of the many piers along the fisherman’s wharf, pier 39 is the most interesting and the most visited. You can walk around the many souvenir shops or just head to the water and see the many sea lions that rest there. They are a sight to behold.
2. The Golden Gate Bridge
One of the many architectural wonders in the US, it doesn’t cost anything to go see the Golden Gate Bridge. If you are fit enough you can even walk across the Bridge and catch some breathtaking views of the Bay.
3. Free entrance to the museums on every first Tuesday of the month
And most museums can be found within a few blocks of each other making it easier for you to visit up to five museums a day free of cost.
