6 Fitness Tips for Working Women
4. Avoid taking excess stress
It is very common for a working woman to be constantly under stress. You can prevent this by organizing your day with the help of a daily organizer. Write a list of things that are of priority to you. Take help of your family members in doing work at home. If you have kids, spend good time with them and be happy. The more stress-free you are, the more fit you will be. A worked up mind will never hold a good body. So, be happy.
5. Focus on fitness and not the size
It is not important what size clothes you wear. Whatever your weight is, avoid trying to pull it down drastically with crash diets, diet pills, or other short term weight loss programs. You must remain fit in your size, that is, you should be healthy enough to run around for all the errands both at home and office. If you are overweight, take a program that fits along with your office work and does not make you feel tired.
6. Be flexible about your routine
Once you have made a daily plan, do not get rigid about it. Be flexible. If you have not been able to spend enough time walking due to some other requirement, find out how you can compensate for it in the latter part of the day. Getting fidgety also puts your mind under stress. If you have missed your yoga session or walk, then eat accordingly. Avoid fat on that day and drink a good amount of liquid instead.
