50 Face Beauty Tips
31. Orange peel powder
If you keep on using blackhead removal strips each time you step out, your skin will stop reacting to those strips after some time and it will leave a mark in the area where the strip had been used. A natural solution for this is to use orange peel powder. Dry a few orange peels in the sun for a few days. Powder it finely and mix it in water and wash your face with this 2-3 times a day. Orange zest will bring a new zing of freshness to your face and will remove blackheads, hence increasing the beauty of your face.
32. Eucalyptus oil
Another natural remedy for removal of blackheads is to add a few drops of eucalyptus oil in water, then boil it and have a steam. Eucalyptus oil has a great medicinal value and also acts as a hydrating source to open up the pores on your facial skin.
33. Bronzers or tanners
If you already have a very fair complexion and want to go the reverse way and look a little tanned, you can take your pick from a range of bronzers or tanners available in the market. Don’t go for permanent tanning as the radiation can harm your face. Depending on the dress you decide to wear, use the bronzer shade. This will give you a diva like evening look.
34. Primers
The main function of a primer is not only to protect your face from the harmful effects of makeup, but also to give you a great look at the same time. It will create a smooth base so that the makeup can hold well. Most people have unsatisfying results with makeup because it doesn’t last too long. This problem can be solved with a primer. Removing the makeup will also become very easy with this.
35. Scotch tape
If flaky dead skin is peeling off from your nose, cheeks or under the eyes making your face look ugly, here is an unusual trick. Wrap a ribbon of scotch tape around your finger, keeping the sticky side out and peel the flakes off. It will be slightly painful, but this will reduce scarring that may happen if you try to flake it off by hand.
36. Ingredients
Start being aware of what ingredients go into your cosmetics. Look for each of them online and consult your dermatologist to get precise information about them. For instance, you should know that a body butter lotion should not ideally have mineral oil or paraffin as the only oils in it. There should at least be some shea butter or any other lubricating agent in it.
37. Ugly habits
Having a pretty face is not just about applying tons of cream and fruit on your face but also about carrying the correct attitude. For instance, many people have an irritating habit of walking with their mouths open. When you are not talking, your mouth should be closed. You don’t have to sew up your lips but simply place them together. Letting the mouth sag will make your facial muscles sag and also make you look ugly.
38. Good sleep
Get plenty of sleep every day. At least, eight hours in a day. Lack of proper sleep will show up on your face in the form of dark circles and fading skin tone. No cosmetic in the world can replace a naturally glowing skin that comes because of good sleep.
39. Nude makeup
If you are fond of wearing makeup and just can’t do without it, then try using neutral shades in your lip gloss, blush, primer and rouge. This will accentuate your cheek bones and the natural skin tone that you have. In this way, you will also be able to apply all the makeup you want, without looking ugly.
40. Wet wipes
Especially during summer, face wipes are extremely important. Cleanse the perspiration from your face every half an hour by swiping wet fragrant tissues across your face. Not only will this make you look fresh but will also prevent the bacteria from perspiration to accumulate on your skin.
