5 Ways to Keep the Child in You Alive Forever
4. Stick to your friends
Solitude is fun and important too. But, once in a while we can take a cue from the way kids stick to their best friends or the way they shower affection on their toys or dolls. It is a great lesson. To keep the child alive in you, it is important to be with people who let us be, who have known us all our lives and hence make us comfortable. Kids are fiercely loyal, a trait that disappears as we grow up.
5. Rediscover things you loved as a child
Remember when you enjoyed sitting under the tree in a corner of the garden? Or snuggling in the nook of a room, sometimes even behind a sofa or a table just so you had a safe place to read? There are many things we did as a child that gave us immense joy and defined who we were. It might have been something as simple as collecting shells or reading comic books. The things we loved doing and the places we loved doing them shouldn’t be forgotten just because we’ve grown up. Rediscover them all over again and rekindle these passions to keep the child in you alive.
