4. Stay fit
We are not talking about looking like an Adonis here. But at least you should try to stay fit as this too has a great deal of impact on your self esteem. You should not loathe yourself when you look at the mirror or sulk when you come across someone fit and happy. Just as your qualities are unique, so is your body structure and it is good to appreciate that. But it also means that you should exercise regularly, eat healthy and sleep well. If your body is fit, your mind will be fit and healthy as well and together it will lead to an improved self-esteem.
5. Don’t be too harsh on yourself
Accept the fact that sometime or the other you are going to fail. But what is important is to never be bogged down by failures. You should take failures as a learning curve and come back even stronger every time you fail. Instead of being too critical of yourself or loathing yourself to the very core, just accept your mistake and learn from it. Never let a small obstacle on the way harm your self image in any way. Use your strength to get over it and watch your self-esteem improve even further in the process.
