5 Types of People You Meet at The Gym
4. The Self Appointed Trainer
Take the ‘Free Advice Giver’ a step further and you have your ‘Self Appointed Trainer’. She doesn’t restrict herself to giving verbal pieces of advice, but she leaves her workout plan to actually tell you or even show you how things should be done. So don’t be surprised if you find her tapping your back to keep it straight, or land a strong blow to your abdomen to keep it in. She can be quite annoying, so make sure you handle her before things get worse!
5. The Demotivator
At the opposite end of the motivation spectrum, you have the ‘demotivator’. ‘Leave it, you can’t do it.’, ‘Don’t push yourself too hard, it won’t make a difference.’, ‘No matter what you do, you are not getting rid of that flab’ – Don’t let such demotivating comments get to you. Find a spot in the gym far away from her as possible and stay there. Negativity is easy to catch, so take care and never let her demotivate to you.
