4. Be interactive
Let people ask questions. Have the comment option enabled in your posts, reply to people’s comments. Don’t be afraid about the negativity and try to answer politely. Update your ‘About Me’ page, it’s actually your first attempt to talk to your audiences. Make sure to install social networking buttons on your page and link them to your other social networking sites and profiles. Link your websites and videos or other subject-related work on the web.
5. Have tags and analytical content
Tags serve two purposes. First, to serve as an umbrella link to all articles related to a single topic. Second, to make your articles available in search topics for readers. Tag each post to their fields. The first five tags are mostly considered by blog hosts. Check Google Analytics or Website analytics to see the most popular post. Analyze your audience’s preferences and write updated posts on it from different aspects. For e.g. – if “Ten reasons why should you blog” was famous then writing “How to run successful blogs” would be popular too.
