After the exhilarating ride and views of the park, the Botanical garden and the butterfly conservatory offer a much needed rest and quiet time. The Botanical garden has a lot of well-maintained gardens and plant species and the admission is free, while you can enjoy a colorful array of butterflies at the conservatory.
5. White Water Walk
If you want to have a more personal and natural experience of the falls, try the White Water Walk. A quarter mile walk that overlooks the Great Gorge Rapids from the Canadian side of the Niagara River. Try the observation area where you can see the waterfall and the whirlpool below.
Although the Falls is the main attraction and reason to go visit Niagara falls, the surrounding areas are a true delight. The beautiful forests, golf courses, botanical gardens, walks along the river, the aquarium and the marine world are all great reasons to visit the Niagara Falls.
