5 Meditation Techniques for Beginners
4. Silent walking
Some people just cannot sit in one place for an extended period of time. There is a need to constantly move around or do something. So the best way to begin would be to go for a walk alone. However, there should be no loud music plugged in. Try to go for a walk in the wee hours and to places where not many people are around. The place should not be very distracting. You could plug in soothing instrumental music and stroll for minutes focusing on your thoughts and allow your mind to engage with itself.
5. Lamp meditation
Lamp meditation is a unique kind of a beginner’s meditation technique. You light a candle and focus on the flame. This is not an exercise for not blinking but being able to look in one direction constantly to sharpen your ability to focus and concentrate.
