5 Budget Wines To Choose From

4. Markham Merlot ($19.99)

Even at 20 dollars, I’d still call this a budget wine because of its supreme quality. Did you know that you’d end up paying not less than fifty or sixty dollars to get a full bodied texture of a Merlot similar to this one? The great thing about Merlot is that it suits everyone’s taste buds. With the right amount of wetness and hints of cola, vanilla and mocha flavors, the rich tannins of the Markham Merlot will satiate your palette fully. Straight out of the vineyards of Napa Valley, 20 dollars for this Merlot is a superb bargain price.

5. Castle Rock Sonoma Pinot Noir ($12.79)

If you are a fan of Californian wines, just like me, then the Castle Rock Pinot Noir from Sonama County closer home is ideal for you. Tended by the cool breeze straight from the Pacific Ocean, one sip of this lovely Pinot Noir will open up a deep fruity taste with a tinge of red peppercorn flavors. I love the leathery aftertaste of this wine, because of which I always chose to have it after dinner! I think this is a great value wine for $12.79.

It’s a myth that only expensive, vintage wines befit special occasions. I wonder why people associate the quality of a product with its high price. Sip on these budget wines and serve them to your guests without reservations of taste. I’m sure, they’ll ask for more!
