4 Easy Dishes to Make with Your Kids
3. Fruit juice
Help your kids cut up their favorite ripe fruit into pieces. The technique remains the same for all the drinks. Along with the ripe fruit, honey or sugar can also go into the blender. Let it all blend on high speed for about five to ten minutes. Before pouring out the juice, you should stir it up with a wooden spoon. If needed, you can blend it again for another five minutes.
4. Chocolate Pudding
Here is how to make the irresistible Chocolate Pudding. All you need is:
2 tablespoons cornstarch
5 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup heavy cream
1 1/4 cups milk
2 large eggs
1 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Take a heavy-bottom saucepan of medium size to whisk together cocoa powder, cornstarch, sugar and salt. You then ask the kids to add cream, milk and also the eggs. Ask them to whisk well till the ingredients are all nicely blended. Now add chocolate chips. Place the pan on medium flame and keep on whisking slowly till it boils. After about eight minutes, you should help the kids remove the saucepan from the fire and pour the mixture into a bowl. For the ice bath, let them fill large bowls with ice, adding a little water. Now set the pudding bowl in ice. Keep stirring the pudding until it starts cooling. Now you can stir in vanilla and then cover it well with a plastic lid and refrigerate for about forty minutes.
