When I say that I admire someone, the quality of consistent delivery is critical for me. You may be the most talented star of the world, but if you don’t belt out consistent hits or good films, you’re always going to be called a one-hit wonder. I think that would apply to any field of work, for that matter. Reese Witherspoon has always belted out great films that we remember even now, don’t we, ladies? Fear, Sweet Home Alabama, Walk the Line, Legally Blonde Part 1 and 2, and many more. Do you remember watching the Academy Awards when Reese won the Best Actress for portraying the iconic June Carter Cash in ‘Walk the Line’? Wow, what a speech it was! What I will now tell you will completely bowl you over. She is one of the seven actresses to have won the Academy Award, BAFTA Award, Critics’ Choice Award, Golden Globe Award and SAG Award for the same performance. Now, that’s a real tough deal to crack.
I’ll tell you a secret reason why everyone loves Reese so much. Ladies of older age groups look up to her wishing that their daughters would be like her. Boys like her because at the end of the day they want to bring home nice girls to spend their lives with – just like Reese. And young girls love her because that’s how they want to be when they grow up! If I had to sum up Reese’s personality without even knowing her personally, I would call her – cool, confident, positive, bright, well educated, determined, smart – and these are just some of the qualities that come to my mind when I think of Reese Witherspoon. There aren’t just three, but many many reasons why we love Reese Witherspoon. Right?
