15 Reasons To Love Your Grandparents
Your grandparents are your parent’s parents – the very reason why you should love them. Moreover, they are the ones who are more experienced and knowledgeable than even your parents. They may belong to an earlier generation but they love you more than anybody else and unconditionally. Here are 15 reasons why you should love your grandparents.
1. They are excellent listeners – they will always be ready to listen to you, and will always give their best opinion. They are not biased and never expect anything in return except a little bit love and respect.
2. They are very adventurous! They might not be physically strong, but they are very vivacious from their heart and immensely enthusiastic. They teach you the true meaning of life.
3. They are storehouses of stories – whether they make them up or they are tales they have heard somewhere or they are their own experiences, they are wonderful story-tellers and always have something to talk about. They also mostly know something interesting about historical events, if you ask them.
4. They know a lot of things. Whether it is some handiwork or craft work or gardening or cooking, they always know the exact technique of doing things the perfect way, and you get to learn a lot from them.
5. They can mingle easily with little kids and the rapport they share with them is like nothing else. They bring themselves to the level of little kids and understand them more intrinsically than anybody else.
6. They have plenty of time for you. They will never ask you to hurry up or that they are getting late for something. They have a lot of patience for you.
7. They are the first and the best audience you have. Whatever new performance you have learnt – a song or a dance or a poem, they are the first ones whom you would want to show or tell, because they will not only pay their full attention but will also applaud and encourage you to do better. And the best thing is, they really believe that you are the best!
8. They love you more than anybody else. Remember that you are their children’s children and so they love you twice as much as they love your parents!
