7. Take firm decisions
If you are always trying to pacify your family, friends and others in a bid to appear unselfish, it would be good to take a firm decision if something does not appeal to you at all. For your own peace of mind, try to be very firm and say, ‘No’ at those times.
8. Take a walk
Even if you are at work and things are getting you down, push aside your work and go for a short walk; it’ll help to make you feel calmer. Physical activity not only relieves tense muscles, but also releases certain chemicals that lead to a better mood.
9. Sleep well
Ensure that you get a proper night rest. Getting proper sleep for at least 7 hours will help your body unwind.
10. Seek help
If everything else fails, seek help; either individual or a group therapy session, but don’t let it turn into a chronic problem.
