6. Talk to friends

Call up a friend or friends who will really make you happy. These are special people who can read your mood and know just the right thing to say that will make you happy. A call that lasts for a few minutes is sometimes all it takes to make you happy.

7. Have fun

Whatever works for you, you should go ahead and do it and have as much as fun as you can possibly can. If doing fun things cannot make you happy, then nothing much can make you really happy.

8. Give without thinking

When you are praised excessively or thanked profusely for any small thing that you have done, you are happy even if giving unconditionally is considered to be an unselfish act.

9. Start liking yourself

For a few minutes every single day, stand in front of the mirror and tell yourself that you love yourself the most and that you can be happy today. Even though it might sound inane it actually works for it just lies within you to make and keep you happy.
