7. Eat before you run
You don’t have to have a full meal, but stock up your body with carbs and protein before you run. Also don’t go sprinting just after you have eaten, you will end up with a catch in your stomach.
8. Shoes
It is important to run with the right shoes. Make sure your feet are comfortable and are able to breathe. Avoid wearing tight shoes. Also try to wear cotton socks when you are running.
9. Run early or late in the night
This way you can avoid traffic. Running early also helps you stay away from the sun as sunlight can tire you out and make you dehydrated very quickly.
10. Wear clothes that let your skin breathe
It is just as important that your skin breathes. Tight clothes are for sprinters. Wear clothes with natural fibers that keep you comfortable.
Running is good for your body and keeps you healthy and fit. But it is important that you run in a sensible way and overdo it.
