6. Try to get others hooked up as well
If you are single and your best friend is dating, it is very much probable that she will spend all the time she has to herself scheming on hooking you up with someone. She gets immersed in so much love that all of a sudden single mortals start to look unnatural to her.
7. Forget everything else
Some couples are so taken up with each other that they hardly have time for anything or anyone else. You can go to a party with them and rest assured they will spend hours there looking into each others’ eyes without even acknowledging your existence. Now that is something only couples can do.
8. Get over “I, me, and myself”
There seems to be no “I” for couples. While the constant use of “we” in every single sentence might raise your temper to a dangerous level, but come to think of it, being in a relationship does make you stop whining about your life and start caring for another individual as well.
9. Plan their life together
Ask her what her plans for her future are, and your bestie will give you a detailed account of her dream life with her lover in every frame of her imaginary picture. You will be surprised by how much she has thought it all through. Well, plans hardly materialize to perfection, but at least they have someone to plan their life with.
10. Be disgusting and still be in love
While you dress up and try hard to look good, you will find couples dressed casually and sometimes even horribly and still holding hands and being madly in love. They can burp in the middle of a meal and say foolish things and still wake up together the next day. That’s a plus of being a couple.
