10 Things Guys Wish Girls Knew

When I got to know that I’m supposed to write this particular article, I found myself fortunate as ever. There are so many times, that I wish I could yell out to the females in my life and tell them about this. However as that is not possible, I guess I’ll just ask them to read this piece. As for you, I’m sure all the guys in your life will be sending silent blessings to me. So please read and understand. You’ll find it a lot easier to deal with us guys, and also will make it simpler for us to deal with you girls.

  1. ‘We hate to listen to a lecture, even if it is from our girlfriends.’
    They say the golden rule for a successful relationship is, when you are wrong, you apologize. However when you are right, shut up! Don’t sit to give your guy a lecture on ‘I told you so and you didn’t listen to me’.

  2. ‘Just because you are waiting for a hero, doesn’t mean we’re waiting for a damsel in distress. We prefer girls who can look after themselves.’
    Unlike the way they show in movies, guys get turned on by girls who are independent and can look after themselves. Girls who depend on guys for every tiny little thing are huge turn offs.

  3. ‘Don’t interrupt us while we are watching football. Because if you do, we will either ignore you or ‘act’ as if we heard you.’
    Guys go crazy over sports. Again most of them are bad listeners. No actually let me rephrase that, most of them are ‘horrible’ listeners. So, obviously making them listen to you while they are watching their favorite sport is next to impossible unless they are scared of you.

  4. ‘A girl who can cook well is definitely a keeper.’
    The way to a guy’s heart is through his stomach! And that is definitely true. Guys love food. Period! A guy can fall in love with a girl, who can cook very well. As far as I am concerned it is one of the first things, beyond looks, that I find interesting in a girl.

  5. ‘We don’t mind being feather bedded and treated like a toddler by our girlfriends. However, this is strictly forbidden in front of our friends.’
    All guys love to be cared for and pampered. However, they all laugh at their friends, when they catch their friend’s girlfriend doing the same. So please don’t embarrass the guy you like by babying him in front of his amigos.
