10 Best Moments Of F.R.I.E.N.D.S
“I miss watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Why can’t they film more episodes instead of just showing re-runs?”, whined Gemma, 22, a huge ‘Friends’ follower. She and her friend Betty, 21, had watched almost all the seasons of this popular series more than 50 times and weren’t bored yet. “I know. I miss laughing at Joey’s flat expressions and Ross’ paleontology jokes”, said Betty.
Gemma and Betty haven’t been able to get rid of the popular series F.R.I.E.N.D.S from their memories, nor have any of us. Why not go through some of Gemma and Betty’s favorite moments from the series and have some fun?
1. Ross and Rachel’s one of many breakups (Season 3, Episode 17)
“Oh this is just one of my favorite moments from the series. Do you remember Gemma, when Ross and Rachel broke up for the umpteenth time, the gang got together and took a ski trip? Both Ross and Rachel were completely at odds of course, but the gang was trying to figure out ways to keep everything normal”, said Betty. “Yeah, that was fun. And then Phoebe’s rented car ran out of gas and Ross had to pick them up, much to Rachel’s dislike”, added Gemma.
2. Phoebe gives up her triplets (Season 5, Episode 100)
“Do you know what was so special about this episode?”, Betty asked, trying to bring some nice moments from this episode in front of her eyes. “It was the 100th in the series”, she added. “That’s true Betty. I just started choking up when Phoebe held her triplets for the last time in her hands and said that she could settle for being their favorite aunt”, said Gemma. “Yeah, it’s kind of fun seeing Phoebe in an emotional, sentimental mood for a change”, Betty confirmed.
3. Ross gets the tan (Season 10, Episode 3)
“Haha, this moment is just hilarious. I mean it’s so funny….”, Gemma’s voice trailed off because she couldn’t stop laughing. “Just picture Ross going in for a tan inside a salon, getting the instructions completely wrong and coming out triple tanned!”, she added. “And in the same episode, I just split out laughing at Amanda’s annoying British accent. Remember that friend of Monica and Phoebe’s who visited them?”, said Betty. Both of them started laughing. This one surely had some great moments.
4. Emma’s first birthday (Season 10, Episode 4)
“Oh man, Rachel is just SO annoying in this episode, isn’t she?”, exclaimed Betty. “I know. Remember the way she leaves to buy another cake for Emma’s birthday after they got a wrongly delivered one?”, she added. “And the best part is that no one was allowed to leave the room. The rest of the gang ended up getting so bored, that they started racing toy cars like young kids”, said Gemma.
5. Joey proposes to Rachel (Season 9, Episode 1)
“This episode is just full of amazing moments. This is when everyone thinks Joey has proposed to Rachel, but actually Ross was going to propose to Rachel. And ultimately no one has proposed to anyone”, laughed Gemma. “Oh yeah, this happens when Rachel gives birth to Emma and is recuperating in the hospital, right?” asked Betty. “Yes, it’s that classic comedy of one misunderstanding taking place after the other”, replied Gemma.
