5 Signs You’re Being Taken for Granted by Him
No one likes being taken for granted in a relationship. Sometimes you can go on for years not really knowing that you are being taken for granted. Your love for him would make you blind to whatever is happening and you would not realize how much you have been used or your love has been abused unless you did some serious retrospection or just broke up with him. Having that feeling of being taken for granted or having been used in a relationship is something that you can never get over with. Even if you get over him, you will never be able to shake off that feeling completely and you may carry some of that baggage into your next relationship. Instead of doing that you can look for signs that you are being taken for granted and try and get out of the relationship or take remedial measures. Here are some signs that let you know that he is taking you for granted.
1. Your calls are not returned all the time
You call religiously every day to tell him that you love him and that you miss him or you call him just to chat about things that had happened that day. Sometimes he may not pick up your call, and when you are waiting for him to call you back, you realize that he never calls. Instead you call him again to talk. He I free to talk when you call him but does not make the effort to return your calls. When this happens, you should know that you are being taken for granted.
2. He does not have the time for you
You would be totally willing to give up an important meeting at work to talk to him or go out with him, but he will not even go out with you when they there is a game on TV. He would expect you to understand and cancel your plans because he wants to watch TV. When it is totally ok with him that you miss a meeting to be with him, but he won’t give up a game for you, it means you are being taken for granted.
3. You are not his number one priority
He has something very important to announce and you are not the first person he calls to announce it. It can get worse sometimes and you may even know about the news from someone else. When you know that he does not deem you fit to be told about something important first, you should know that you are being taken for granted in this relationship.
