5. Angelica root

Have you heard of the herb Angelica root? This popular herb is effective for reducing mild to high fever in the body. Just boil some pieces of the root to make a concoction. Once boiled, sieve it and cool it. Before consuming, add some honey to enhance its taste. This will help to reduce mild fever caused by an infection in the body.

6. Herbal teas

Herbal teas are also effective to cure infections in the body. Have green tea or lemon grass tea to reduce fever. Peppermint tea and sage tea also have antioxidants, which help to fight flu and fever. Cinnamon added to normal herbal tea also provides relief from the infection caused by fever.

7. Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar has anti-bacterial properties; it helps to reduce mild fever in the body. Add a tea spoon of apple cider vinegar in warm water and drink three to four times in a day. Or else, dip a cloth in the apple cider vinegar and water mixture and place it on the forehead. It helps to bring down the high temperature of the body.

8. Lemon and honey

Lemon juice can help to fight any infection because it is high in antioxidants and vitamin C. Take a warm glass of water and add a dash of lemon juice in it. Now, add a tea spoon of ginger juice with some honey. Drink this mixture at least four times in a day to cure fever and flu infections of the body.
