10 Easter Games for Kids
6. Bunny’s Eggs
Draw a large size Easter Bunny on a plain sheet of paper, standing on its hind legs and holding its paws in such a way that they can hold an egg. Cut eggs using different colored cloths, approximately the size that should fit in the Bunny’s arms. Stick a pin in every egg. Hand one egg to each kid, blindfold them one after another and tell them to pin the egg right into the Bunny’s arms. The one who pins it into the Bunny’s arms or gets the closest is the winner! And of course, the Bunny will be covered in a number of eggs!
7. Hot Boiled Egg
An Easter variation of Hot Potato is the Hot Boiled Egg! Add something to a plastic egg to make it slightly weighty. Tape it properly. Make the kids sit or stand in a circle, start some music as the kids pass the ‘hot boiled egg’ around. When the music stops, the kid holding the egg is out. Continue passing till one kid is left, who is obviously the winner!
8. Secret Bunny
As the story goes, the Easter bunny is the one who does the job of delivering Easter gifts for children. The first part of this game has to be done at least a week before Easter. First, form a group of people to play the game. Then write the names of the people playing on different pieces of paper. Neatly fold the pieces of paper and place them into a hat. Now, gather all the participants and let each of them pick one piece. Every player has to be the secret bunny of the person whose name is on the piece of paper picked by them. They have to get a gift for that person on Easter Sunday. However till Easter, the identity of everyone’s secret bunny has to be kept as anonymous.
9. Pin the tail of the Bunny
This is a party game. In this game, the participant is blindfolded and is given a pin and a paper tail. Now a picture of an Easter bunny without a tail, has to be stuck on a board on the wall. The idea is to pin the tail on the bunny at the right place. The person who pins the tail the closest to where the bunny’s tail should be, wins!
10. Paint the eggs
This is a group party game. In this game, the participants are divided into groups of four each. Each group is given a basket containing some eggs and very little egg-dye. When the timer starts, each group has to start painting the eggs. The idea is to paint more eggs in lesser time than the other groups using the limited egg dye. Prizes can be given on the bases of speed, creativity, etc.
