6. Fatigue
Yet another sign of depression, fatigue and lethargy are two important symptoms that go to show that depression is not just a mental illness but has physical repercussions as well. Generally, fatigue is related to stress and physical exertion wherein the muscles of the body start burning but fatigue during depression is lethargy wherein you may not feel like doing anything at all. There may be a sudden increase in the number of hours you sleep not necessarily because you’re feeling sleepy or because you are tired but as a result of mental fatigue.
7. Reduced Mental Abilities
Your mental ability may reduce tremendously when you are depressed. There may be cases wherein you may find it difficult to carry out mundane everyday tasks. This phenomenon is called brain fog in layman’s terms.
