Spending More Time With Your Loved Ones Will Make You Happy. How?
Whether you have a busy job or have other priorities in life which give you less time to enjoy, there is one activity that you can do for the ultimate happiness in the world. We caught up with Jeffrey, 48, a supply chain executive with one of the big automobile giants in the country. As one can imagine, Jeffrey’s life is all about taking business class flights across continents and negotiating deals. “Every man or woman’s dream is to travel first class and stay in 5 star hotels, don’t you think? Not for me. Only spending more time with loved ones gives me happiness”, said Jeffrey. Read on to find out how spending more time with your loved ones will make you happy.
“You may think that being showered with first class air tickets and staying in 5 star hotels around the world is a fascinating job to have. I won’t lie, the job is fascinating. But really, it becomes boring after a few months”, said Jeffrey who was trying to explain that such luxuries in life, in fact, don’t bring us happiness. “The minute I reach home and give my wife and children a hug, I feel happy. That’s because I feel welcomed and feel that someone actually missed my presence”, he asserted. As you can see, spending more time with your loved ones will make you happy because there is no better feeling in the world than that of being welcomed with a warm hug by a loved one.
“Another reason why spending more time with loved ones makes me happy is that I can share literally anything and everything under the roof. Whether it is misfortunes at work, feelings of anxiety or other secrets that you wouldn’t want to share with anyone else, I like to share everything with my loved ones. That makes me happy”, said Jeffrey. We couldn’t agree more with Jeffrey because we all have little secrets and thoughts in our lives that we wouldn’t want to share with anyone other than our loved ones. If you think that you will get happiness by sharing your lives with your loved ones, start spending more time with them today.
