5. Read the news
Most airlines provide newspapers to their passengers and even if they don’t, you could always pick up a few from the airport. Boredom will be kept at bay and you would be updated with the current happenings.
6. Buy a puzzle book or magazine
The best way to keep your mind occupied in a constructive manner when in a boring flight is to carry a puzzle book containing mind challenging puzzles like crosswords, Sudoku, Word search, riddles, etc. You could also grab a gossip or women’s magazine from the airport bookstore and relish the content in the pages.
7. Get a pack of cards
You could pack a small deck of cards and ask your seat mate if he or she wants to play. If they refuse or don’t seem friendly enough, worry not for there are umpteen solitaire or single player games such as Amazon, Beehive, Klondike, etc, which you can play all by yourself.
8. Decorate your nails
It’s difficult for a girl to get ample time to treat her nails if she wants to do so by herself and not pay exorbitant amounts for a manicure appointment. Long flights provide a lot of undisturbed time sans any phone calls and messages so you can carry your nail paint, nail stickers, rhinestones, buffer and nail file and start decorating them to pass time.
