6 Ways You can Make this Christmas Extra Special
Christmas is a special time in itself and how do you make it extra special for you and for the entire family? Here are a few things you can do that make sure that this Christmas is truly a special time for you, your friends and the family.
1. Make this about others and not about you
It is a selfish thing to do and no one will admit to it, but when you make it about others, you silently are hoping that it will make you feel better. Make your Christmas extra special by bringing in more people in your life and involving them in the different aspects of Christmas, including coking, baking and shopping.
2. Donate liberally
It is not enough if you send money or spend time with your charity alone. Do not be biased when it comes to charities and try to add a new one to your list every year. Or if you find out that your charity is doing reasonably well, then pick out a new one to help with and a new cause to celebrate.
3. Surprise your family
If you are stations elsewhere, or working in a foreign country, surprise your family with a visit. It could be you visiting them or you can arrange a surprise gift for the whole family and they can come visit you in the new country or in the new state. Include the pet in your plans too.
