4. Movie marathon
You can get a set of movies that either focus on Ireland or its traditions or a movie on leprechauns or Christianity. The kids can have a great time getting entertained and learning about the Irish tradition.
5. Making special St. Patrick’s cards
You can get special supplies so your kids can make as many cards as they want to for St. Patrick’s Day. Some little green envelopes will put a finishing touch to the whole St. Patrick’s Day color theme.
6. Making up songs and poems
If there are a lot of kids in the neighborhood or if your kids have friends over, you can arrange for a little singing and poetry reading competition. Again the theme can be St. Patrick’s. If you and the kids have the time, you can also stage a play where you can bring all the St. Patrick Day icons.
