6. You find yourself full of energy
If all of a sudden you start cleaning everything in the house and find yourself energetic rather than sleepy, then it may be a sign of labor. This is called the nesting instinct.
7. Your cervix has started to thin
The thinning of cervix can be measured and determined by a nurse or doctor. This is called effacement. This means your body is getting ready for the big day!
8. Your cervix starts to dilate
This means that your cervix is opening up to get ready for childbirth.
9. You experience low backache
This is another sign of labor as the descending baby gives you low backache.
10. You start experiencing contractions
This is a clear sign of labor. As you further progress in labor, contractions will become regular with a pattern. They will be more intense and less far apart.
